Funeral Practitioner/Embalmer
Born and raised in North Berwick, Melissa was a 1984 graduate of Noble High School. Melissa has been part of her family’s business since 1991 as the office manager, assisting in all aspects of the funeral home. In 2005 she decided to continue her family’s service to the community and pursue her degree in Funeral Services. She is a 2010 graduate of American Academy McAllister Institute in New York City and became a licensed Practitioner in 2011 She and her husband Jere, who is also a funeral attendant, reside in the funeral home. They have 4 children and 4 grandsons.
Melissa is a Board member of the North Berwick Historical Society and member of the Cemetery committee. Melissa loves spending quality family time on Long Lake and Moody Beach
Funeral Attendant
Bill is a lifelong resident of North Berwick, cousin to the Johnson's and the second generation of Wyman's to work for the funeral home. He owns and operates his own Graphics Company in town, making him available to assist our family. Bill and his wife have served in different capacities as volunteers for North Berwick Rescue Squad for over 30 years. He is a former member of the North Berwick Cemetery Committee. Bill is very committed to helping others and treasures the times he has with his family; especially his 2 granddaughters.
Funeral Attendant
Sherry has lived in North Berwick for 60 years and is the widow of
David H. Johnson, the former Funeral Director and propane dealer. She has been involved in the funeral service for over 50 years. For many years, she had a furniture upholstering business, retiring in 2006. Sherry is a choir member at Bethel Christian Church. She had three children, Stephen passed away in 1988; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and loves spending time on Long Lake and Moody Beach.
Funeral Attendant
Michael is a 1978 graduate of Noble High School and a licensed Master Electrician. He has assisted in the family business since he was a young boy, in both the cemetery and funeral services. Michael is a member and assistant Pastor at the Bethel Christian Church where he plays saxophone in the band and sings in the choir. He volunteers his time and electrical services for many town events and a member of the North Berwick Cemetery Committee, Selectman and various town committees. Michael and his wife Anita have 4 children and 8 grandchildren and reside in North Berwick.
