Whitney Galeucia Obituary

With broken hearts and deep faith, we announce the unexpected passing of Whitney Terrin Galeucia, age 39, who left this world far too soon on Friday, July 5, 2025. Though her departure was sudden, her life was filled with moments of profound love, quiet courage, and an enduring belief in the power of God.

Born on May 27, 1986, Whitney was a beacon of warmth and empathy. She carried a gentle spirit and a resilient heart — qualities that made her a safe harbor for all her beloved residents at Pinnacle Nursing Home in North Berwick, Maine where she worked for the last four years. She had a heart that overflowed with love — especially for her family. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being “Auntie Whitty” to her cherished nieces and nephews. Her laughter was large and contagious, and her hugs had the quiet strength of someone who was learning how to weather life’s storms.

Whitney is survived by her loving mother Stephanie Galeucia; her siblings, Peter Galeucia, Kimberly Donahue, Benjamin Galeucia, Quinten Galeucia, and Brent Galeucia; and her treasured nieces and nephews, who were truly the center of her world, Allison, Sarah, Hannah, Megan, Laken, Peyton, Camden, Sky, and Curren. She also leaves behind her sister-in-laws Elyse Galeucia and Chelsi Galeucia, as well as her most beloved friend Heather Davis. Though her time on Earth was far too short, we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her father, Bruce Galeucia, who preceded her in death.

Though we mourn her physical absence, we know that Whitney's spirit will live on. Her story reminds us that even in the face of loss, there is always hope. Even through tears, there can be healing. And even in goodbye, there is the power of love to forgive and carry on.
