Vincent Walter Garner, 68, of West Lebanon, passed away on August 29, 2025
Known to his friends as Vince, he was born on May 28, 1957, in Rochester, Minnesota to Spike and Louise Garner. Vince moved to Laconia, NH in 1970, where he graduated Laconia High School in 1975. He continued his education at the NH Vocational Technical College where he earned an associate of science degree in Industrial Electronics. Vince would go on to earn Advanced Degrees in Management and Information Technology from UNH in 1987.
Vince held several positions in the computer and technology field throughout his long career, starting as a test technician at the computer manufacturing company Data General in 1978 and then moving to the circuit board manufacturing company Sanmina from 1990 to 2025.
A lover of music, technology and history, Vince played the electric bass guitar, built custom stereo equipment, and enjoyed online multiplayer video games. He loved spending time with his friends at the Moose Club in Milton, NH.
He is survived by his brothers Damian and Paul, and sister Laurie. Vince’s nieces and nephew are Nyssa, Samantha, and Alicia Schmidt, and Emma and Lucas Garner.
Calling hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, Maine.
