Taylor Grant Obituary

Taylor C. Grant, 38, lifelong resident of Wells passed away peacefully Monday, June 21 with her family by her side.

She was born May 2, 1983 in Exeter, NH, the daughter of Gerald and Raylene (Scott) Grant.    Taylor developed Leighs Syndrome at an early age, restricting her to a wheelchair, but it did not keep her from living her life to the fullest.  She was a 2002 graduate of Wells High School where she always had a smile for everyone who crossed her path.   She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, her favorite being Tom Brady.  Taylor loved being a part of Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation, which opened many doors for her to experience camping and especially her favorite of downhill skiing at Sunday River.  Taylor was one of  their top fundraisers!

Taylor will be remembered for her wit and unique sense of humor.

She will be forever loved by her parents, Gerald (Gary) and Raylene Grant of Wells, 3 brothers, William Grant and his companion Janell, David Grant and wife Jody, Michael Grant and husband Mark; sister Jennifer Grant and wife Carissa; all of California; sister Kelsey Knoll and husband Josh of Wells, ME.  She was the best Auntie Tay for her nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24 from 2pm to 3:000pm immediately followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME.  At the family's request, please dress comfortably in shorts and your favorite Red Sox, Patriots or Maine Adaptive shirts.

Interment at a later date in the Littlefield Family Cemetery in Wells, ME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Taylor be made to the Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation, P.O. Box 853, Bethel, ME 04217
