Susan G. (Goodwin) Curry

Susan Goodwin Curry passed away very peacefully in her sleep, at home, to be with her Lord and Savior.  Sue was born on April 6, 1945 to Charles and Alma Catherine Goodwin in Fitchburg, MA.  She graduated from the First Class at North Middlesex High School in Townsend, MA.  She then married the love of her life, Craig Curry for 53 years.  After living in Londonderry, NH they moved the family to Moody Beach, Maine.  Sue worked for 23 years at the iconic restaurant Valerie’s in Ogunquit and then 12 years at Litchfield’s in Wells.  Not content with sitting around she then did independent home care for the elderly for the next 10 years.  Her true passion was planting and tending to her beautiful flower gardens in her yard every year. 

She loved her 2 children, grandchildren, and her great grandchild more than anything in the world.  Sue is pre-deceased by her husband Craig Curry, her brother Charles (Buddy) Goodwin, her sisters Carol Clark and Barbara Archibald.  She is survived by her son Mark Curry and her daughter Sherri Brown and husband Steve Brown, her granddaughter and “texting buddy” Sarah Stolz, her grandson Douglas McLean, her great grandson Chase McLean, her step-grandson Corey Brown, her most favorite Kitty cat ever, Sadie, her sister-in-law Barbara Goodwin, nephews Chris, Dale and Tyler Goodwin, Dana Archibald and niece Cathy Archibald.  So many friends including Mark Hilliard, Kevin, Maryann Church, David and Hanna Crouthamel. 

There will be a private service at a later date.
