Shirley Ann (Sias) Charest

Shirley Ann Charest, 83, of Berwick, passed away April 25, 2024 in Burch Health Care Center in Rochester, NH.

She was born May 8, 1940 in North Anson, ME, the daughter of George and Nellie (Bradley) Sias.

After growing up in Berwick, she married and moved to Bethel then to Portland with her four children.  When the children were grown, she moved back home to Berwick.

Shirley was a member of the United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved spending all the time she could with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, daughter Terry Charest, and sister, Linda Webber.

Shirley leaves behind her son, George Charest and his significant other, Lisa Morgan of Lebanon; daughter Patricia Harmon and husband Jamie of West Newfield, ME; her son, Andrew Charest of Biddeford; 9 grandchildren, Brice, Justin and Nicholas Charest, Danielle (Kevin) Frechette, Jacob (Leanne) Guillereault, Garret (Mariah) Harmon, Joseph Charest, Christopher Charest, Melinda (Josh) Lessard as well as many great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 11 at 11:30 am at the Evergreen Cemetery in Berwick followed by a Celebration of Life at George’s home, 75 Sawtelle Road, Lebanon, ME.
