Scott C. Crawford, 59 of Cottage Street, passed away at his home January 17, 2022 after a brief battle with esophageal cancer.
He was born October 20, 1962 in Portsmouth, VA, son of Norman and Susan (Eldridge) Crawford. As a military family, they traveled around before settling in Kennebunk where Scott graduated high school in 1981. He worked construction for several years and currently worked at Corning Life Sciences in Kennebunk as the Maintenance Mechanic for the past 10 years.
Scott was a very quiet and humble soul; a man of few words and had a huge heart. He was a hard-working man who loved his family and took great pride in making his house a home. He loved the quietness of fishing, was a huge movie buff, especially horror movies but mostly loved his time spent with family, whether it be a backyard BBQ or hosting the annual Thanksgiving dinner where he enjoyed cooking.
Scott was pre-deceased by his mother Susan Crawford, 2 sisters, Vicki Canfield and Tina Crawford and son, Todd Bennett. Surviving are his father, Norman Crawford; wife, Robin (Wilson) Crawford; 5 sons, Brandon (Miranda Rose) Crawford, Scott Crawford, Jr, Kenneth Shockley, Justin Bennett all of Sanford, Kevin Bennett of New Gloucester, ME; 2 daughters Karen (Tom) McNulty of Brookfield, NH, Sarah (Greg) Willey; brother Keith Crawford of MA and numerous grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no public services. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, North Berwick. Friends who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are entrusted to the Johnson Funeral Home, North Berwick, ME. Condolences may be expressed at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com
