Ruth D. (Smith) Douglass

Ruth D. Douglass, 102, passed away peacefully at her home on December 30, 2020.

 She was born July 2, 1918 in Millinocket, the daughter of Ray and Clara (Henry) Smith.  Ruth graduated from Yarmouth Academy.

 Ruth enjoyed needlework, knitting, crocheting, and oil painting.  In her younger years she belonged to a local bowling league.  She and her husband Roscoe enjoyed traveling, hiking and camping.  Ruth especially cherished her friendships.

 She was predeceased by her husband, Roscoe Douglass and daughter in law, Mary Douglass and 7 siblings.  Surviving are her son Duane Douglass and Dallas Dotter both of North Berwick and 3 grandchildren.

 There will be no services at this time.   Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Maine.
