Roger Frechette Obituary

Roger Patrick Frechette, 54, of Biddeford, passed away at Maine Medical Center on Monday, May 10th, 2021 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, his family by his side. He was born May 27, 1966 in Biddeford to Roland and Constance (Gagne) Frechette.

Roger grew up in Hills Beach, Biddeford and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1984. From a very young age, Roger had a love for woodworking and worked as a skilled carpenter for most of his life. In 2013, he began working as Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Biddeford, then most recently for the Town of North Berwick. Roger loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ice fishing, 4-wheeling, going to camp, and tubing down the Saco River with his family. His favorite place to be was in the woods. He was a man of few words, but they were always kind. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Family was everything to him and he made sure to let them know, in both words and actions. He always said “Family is forever.”

He married his wife, Carri (Daigle) Frechette, on October 12, 1996 at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.

Roger was predeceased by his father Roland Frechette and sister, Angel Frechette.

Roger is survived by his wife, Carri; his mother, Connie Frechette of Biddeford; his son Justen and wife Nicole, and granddaughter, Eliza; his sons, Alec Frechette and Colby Frechette; his daughter, Emily Frechette; his two brothers, Gary Frechette of Biddeford; and Brian Frechette of Albuquerque, NM; his nieces and nephews, Megan Frechette, Molly (Frechette) Farris, Kayla Daigle, Brandon Daigle, Addison Daigle, and Jake Daigle.
