Robert K. “Bobby” Ham, 75, of South Berwick, passed away May 1, 2025 in Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a brief illness with family by his side.
He was born April 16, 1950, in Dover, NH, the son of Clifford and Phyrma (Blaisdell) Ham and a 1968 graduate of Marshwood High School. Bobby then graduated with an Associates Degree in Business from Husson College. He then joined the family business at Ham Insurance Agency in South Berwick where he became an icon in town, welcoming friends to stop by his office any time.
Bobby was a member of the Cocheco Country Club in Dover, NH for many years. His golfing family meant the world to him. There was a special group of men who loved their annual golfing trips to Myrtle Beach, Kissimmee and Orlando, to name a few. Special memories were made each and every year.
Bobby loved attending all his kids’ sporting events over the years and then his grandchildren, in football and wrestling. He was an avid New England sports fan as well.
He especially loved family time with his siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bobby was pre-deceased by his parents, Cliff and Phyrma Ham, sister Carol Lane. He will be sorely missed by his 2 sons, Derek Ham and wife Jessica of Lebanon, ME, Jason Ham and his wife Jaime of Springvale, ME and daughter Missy Ham of Caribou, ME; 2 sisters, Joyce Baker and husband Robert of Manchester, NH and Karen Stevens and husband Brad of South Berwick; 7 grandchildren, Jake Rasque, Lynsie Ham, Owen Ham, Charlotte Ham, Morganne Emery, Marissa Roy and Hunter Emery; 2 great-grandchildren, Natalie Rasque and Maddie Roy; 6 nieces and nephews, Phil, Kim, Kristina, Jeremy, Ashley and Erica, as well as his numerous golfing buddies.
A time of visitation will be held Saturday, May 17th from 11am to 1pm followed by a remembrance service at 1pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME. A private burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in South Berwick, ME.
