After graduating high school in Kennebunk, Priscilla attended nursing school in Maine. She met and subsequently married Rady McCormack. They relocated to Texas and had three children, Curtis, Kevin and Michael. After working as a nurse, Priscilla enrolled in Harris Hospital’s Anesthesiology program to train nurses in anesthesia. She graduated in 1960 and went on to work as an anesthetist until her late 60’s.
Priscilla’s hobbies included traveling, sewing and bowling. At 90 years old she was still maintaining a 140+ average while bowling in two leagues.
Priscilla married her second husband Arthur Riggs, a retired lawyer, with three children. They resided in Highland Park, Dallas, and later in Carrollton.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Gladys Johnson, and her husband Arthur Riggs.
She is survived by her children, Curtis McCormack, Kevin McCormack and wife Julie, Mike McCormack and wife Cynthia; grandchildren Cody (Angeline) McCormack, Kaily (Tommy) Busatta, Kelsi (Logan) Brown, Joshua McCormack, Jordan McCormack, and Mallari McCormack; one great grandchild, Conley, and second great grandchild on the way; brother, Glendon Johnson of North Berwick, Maine, nephew Warren Johnson of Alfred, Maine and numerous extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 9:30 am at Hillside Cemetery, North Berwick, ME. Condolences may be expressed at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com
