Paul M McGrath, 66, passed away at his home on December 9, 2022, after an 8-month battle with esophageal cancer. He was born in Milton, MA, graduated from Milton High (75) and Fitchburg State (80.) He began his career at Spencer Press in Hingham and moved to Maine to work in their Wells plant, then worked at William Arthur and Corning Medical. He built his log cabin and loved his 4 Samoyeds: Toughie, Toby, Kodiak, and Yukon.
He was the son of the late Daniel F McGrath. He is survived by his mother Lorraine (Amirault) McGrath, of North Berwick and formerly Milton, MA, and his siblings, Daniel (Barbara) Bristol, RI, Tricia (Dick) of Laconia, NH, and Christopher (Darlene) of Milton, MA and nephews Brian, Jonathan, Stephen, and Sullivan, many cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews, and his family by choice The Smiths of Mapleton, Maine.
A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, December 13 from 2pm to 4pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME 03906. Condolences may be expressed at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com
A time of visitation will also be held Wednesday December 14 from 11am to 11:30 immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30am at St. Mary’s of the Hills, 29 Saint Mary’s Road, Milton, MA 02186. Dolan Funeral Home in Milton, MA is assisting with the funeral mass. www.dolandfuneral.com
