Paul Andrew Breton was born on January 23, 1964, in Rochester, New Hampshire and met his Savior face to face on May 19, 2023.
Paul was raised in North Berwick, Maine where he attended the North Berwick school system and graduated from Noble High School, Berwick, Maine in 1982. He held a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University and an MBA from Strayer University.
Paul worked in the New Hampshire and Charleston Passport Centers and at Verizon Wireless.
A Mainer at heart, Paul’s life changed when he met and married the love of his life, Smita. Almost immediately, Paul and Smita moved to the Charleston, South Carolina area where they created a beautiful life for themselves and lived until Paul’s passing.
Paul was a very gentle, compassionate, kind, humble soul and was a staunch Christian. He never missed an opportunity to help his fellowman. Spreading of the gospel, missions, widows, and orphans always held a special place in his heart.
Paul was very proud and passionate about his card ministry. His efforts brought happiness, encouragement, and peace to those who were privileged to receive his mailings. From the time Paul was young, he loved music and played the organ at the First Baptist Church of North Berwick to the delight of his parents and the congregation. In addition, he served as a Deacon leading the Missions Committee at Church. Paul was also very proud of the fact that he played the trombone and participated in the marching band from grammar school until he graduated from high school. Paul received many distinguished academic honors throughout his years and was very proud of his membership in The National Junior Honor Society, National Honor Society and of course the Title of Spelling Bee Champ.
Paul enjoyed great food and traveling and felt very blessed to have traveled to several countries during his lifetime. He will be remembered by those who knew him and loved him as having a wonderful sense of humor and always helping others. Even though Paul moved to South Carolina, Maine and the people of Maine had a very special place in his heart.
