It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Nikki, who left this world on 3/25/2025 at the age of 41. Born in Biddeford, Maine on June 15, 1983
She leaves behind a family who adored her beyond words. Her loving mother Millie Nevins Coombs, Father Edward Coombs, loving brothers Keith Coombs and Justin Coombs. Her many Aunt and Uncles who were so special to her. Mary Jane Wolf, Joe and Mary Beth Nevins, Ed and Amanda Nevins, John Nevins, Fran and Mike Peagler, Margie and Dan Neumann, Karen and John Darling, Beth and Bob Mayne and her many cousins who meant the world to her: Morgan Clough, Katie Clough, Steve Newman, Evan Clough ,Patrick and Dani Nevins, Erin and Nathan Locke Matt and Jenna Nevins, Kyleigh and Andrew Primus, Olivia Whiting, Drew and Melissa Nevins, Ed and Paige Nevins, Sarah Nevins, Dan Neumann, Chris and Sarah Neumann, Alyssa Neumann, Megan Peagler and Isaiah Fraser, Tom and Rachel Peagler, Michael Peagler, Jessica Halstead, Jennifer Halstead, Sarah Anderson, and Rebecca Porch, Blaine and Cindy Darling, Trevor and Monique Darling……. Nikki was predeceased by her beloved Grandmother Mildred Brady Nevins, Grandfather William McMullen and paternal grandparents Grace and Roland Coombs
Though her journey was marked by several physical challenges, she faced everyday with courage, grace, and a heart full of love. Nikki found joy in the simple things- warm hugs, the laughter of family, and the timeless wisdom of Winnie the Pooh. Like the Hundred Acre Wood, her world was one of kindness and love, where she taught those around her the true meaning of strength and perseverance. Despite the medical challenges she faced, she never let it define her. Her radiant spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering love for those close to her made every moment spent with her a cherished gift. Whether it was a quiet afternoon filled with stories, shared laughter and love with family, or simply holding hands in the comfort of home, she reminded us all that love is the most precious thing we can give.
Nikki leaves a legacy of love that will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
As Winnie the Pooh once said, “If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together….there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the more important thing is, even if we’re apart…I’ll always be with you.”
Though we will miss her everyday, we take comfort in knowing that she is now free from pain embraced in eternal peace..
A celebration of Nikki’s life will be held on Thursday April 3, 2025 at Johnson Funeral Home in North Berwick from 4-6 pm.
May her memory be a blessing, and may we always carry a piece of her light with us.
