Michelle Lino Obituary

Michelle passed away in the early morning of Saturday, Dec 6th. Michelle was born to Richard and Sally Loudin in Salt Lake City, UT, on October 28, 1976. She spent most of her childhood years growing up in Las Vegas, NV with her older sisters, Lori and Chelsea. After graduating high school, she went on to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she met her future husband, Terence. Soon after graduating, Michelle followed Terence to his hometown of Pensacola, Florida where they married and started a family. In 2002 their first child, Farah Elizabeth, was born. A couple of years later their second child, Kai Garrett, was born. Pensacola is where Michelle first began working in the banking world for companies such as Washington Mutual and Navy Federal Credit Union. Michelle enjoyed being around friends and family and spent countless days on the white sand beaches of the emerald coast. In 2007, Michelle and her family moved up the eastern seaboard to Maine. Michelle continued her career with Citizens Bank and ultimately with Kennebunk Savings Bank. In 2013, Terence and Michelle's third child, Alexander Fox, was born. Michelle and her family spent time exploring the beautiful scenery of New England. They enjoyed spending time at various lakes and rivers, visiting the mountains and the rocky coast of Maine, and especially enjoyed the many apple orchards in the area. Michelle was an active and devoted presence in her children’s lives, always there to support their activities and milestones. She was also involved in volunteering with dance, baseball, track, wrestling, and football. She was part of the Berwick Recreation Committee for several years as well. On top of volunteering, Michelle also took pride in her position as a commercial underwriter at Kennebunk Savings Bank. She enjoyed crunching numbers, analyzing risk and presenting her findings. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) in 2019 and then metastatic TNBC in 2022. Despite her diagnosis, Michelle persevered, giving her time and energy to volunteering and working as long as her strength would allow. Upon her passing, Michelle donated her body to the MGH Boston Rapid Autopsy Program. Her tissue will be used to understand the disease and research treatments. Michelle wanted to contribute to battling the invasive form of breast cancer. Michelle leaves behind many family members, friends, and professional colleagues. She appreciated the many doctors, nurses, specialists, and medical assistants that attended to her. Michelle will be greatly missed. Three words to describe her are "selfless," "loving," and "determined."
