Michael Leon Hilton

Michael Leon Hilton of South Berwick, departed this earth to be with his mother and the Lord in Heaven on November 15, 2021.  Mike was born in Rochester, NH on June 7, 1957 to Rita and Burpee Hilton.  He resided in South Berwick his entire life, moving from his parents’ farm to his property on Hooper Sands Road at the age of 22.

Mike graduated from Marshwood High School and entered the field of excavation and construction.  He wound his way thru the work force as the Road Commissioner in North Berwick, owned his own excavation business, and worked for multiple companies either operating the equipment or running the jobsite.

Mike spent much of his free time over the years hunting, snowmobiling and just enjoying Northern Maine where he previously owned a camp.  In the recent years spending time with his girls was his passions.  He was often seen giving one or both rides to events or friend’s houses. 

Mike will be held close in the hearts of his daughters, Tiffany Hilton, Andrea (Hilton) Hinojos, Grace Hilton and Ruth Hilton; his grandchildren that he was fond of; Donovan “Buddy”, Mars “Lydia”, Olivia, Josiah and Katalina along with his Dad, sister and brother.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at Mikes House on Hooper Sands Road, Saturday November 27 from 1pm to 3pm.
