Mey Anne Laferriere

Mey Anne Laferriere, 89, formerly of Brunswick, ME passed away March 19, 2024 at her home in Berwick with her loved ones by her side.

She was born March 22, 1934 in Svay-Rieng, Cambodia.  She moved to the United States in 1963 with her husband, Roland Laferriere.  She kept herself busy throughout the years volunteering and working for a dry cleaner while stationed in Quantico, VA, the Navy Exchange in Brunswick, the commissary in Topsham and McDonalds in Brunswick.  After her husband’s death, she made a home with her daughter, Cathy, recently moving to Berwick, Maine. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Felix Laferriere, and her dear friend, Donna Titcomb.

Mey will be forever loved and missed by her daughter Catharina Laferriere and her wife Elizabeth Ward of Berwick, daughter Francoise Martin-Borret of France,  2 grandsons, Nathaniel Ward and wife Erin of Portland, Ethan Ward and wife Stephanie of Dover, NH, granddaughter Lea Gouchet of France, 8 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Xavier, Jackson, Arrow, Ronin, and Harper Ward, Maddy and Sophie Morrell and her little companion, her dog, Bobo.

There will be no public services.  Spring burial will be in the St John’s Cemetery, Brunswick, ME.
