She Was Born December 10, 1931, in Casco, ME, the daughter of Floyd and Ruth (Chute) Chick and a 1950 graduate of Casco High School. She married George Edson in 1950, raising their 3 children in Casco. Mary was a wonderful homemaker and talented seamstress. Mary was a true and dignified lady who loved her family and her church. She enjoyed her flower gardens and appreciated a good book. She and Don loved their camping trips to Naples and fall trips to Dolly Copp Campground in the White Mountains. Mary loved traveling, scenic drives, and she could give directions to just about anywhere.

In 2019, she moved to Ashton Gardens Senior Living in Portland where she made many wonderful friends, including Robert Gale, the special gentleman that lived next door.

She was predeceased by her first husband, George Edson in 1987; stepdaughter, Donna (Wyman) Stewart in 1992; sister, Margaret Oakes in 2018; her second husband Donald L. Wyman in 2018, her son, Richard Edson in 2021.
