Mariette Alice (Geoffroy (Brooks)) Hebert

 Mariette (Brooks) Hebert a native of Pawtucket, RI and resident of Ogunquit passed away peacefully with her husband Norman by her side on May 17th 2021. She devoted her life to her four children. She enjoyed participating in the church choir and playing her piano. As a devoted member of St. Theresa’s Parish in Pawtucket, RI and St. Mary’s in Wells, ME she was always helping the poor and caring for the religious needs of the homebound. Mariette was employed for over 30 years as a unit secretary at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI.

Mariette is preceded in death by her first husband Harold Brooks and her son Stephen Brooks both of Pawtucket, RI and a brother, Paul Geoffroy of North Attleboro, MA.  She is survived by her son John Brooks of Pawtucket, RI. Daniel Brooks of Woonsocket, RI and her daughter Denise LaPointe of Pawtucket, RI. Step sons, Norman Hebert, Jr of Ogunquit, ME and James Hebert of Attleboro MA; brothers,  Rene Geoffroy of West Warwick, RI and Maurice Geoffroy of Gorham, ME.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Theresa’s Church in Pawtucket, RI on June 1, 2021 at 12.:00 pm with interment at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Cranston, RI immediately following the service.

Arrangements have been made through Johnson’s Funeral Home in North Berwick ME.
