Lorraine M. Cox, 91 of Kirk Street, passed away peacefully at the Evergreen Manor in Saco after a period of declining health.
She was born July 22, 1929 in Everett, MA, daughter of Ulysse and Pauline (LeBlanc) Doucette.
In 1951, she married Edward Cox. They loved their summer home on Mousam Lake, eventually moving there year-round. Lorraine was very talented at quilting and needlepoint. She especially loved her Tuesday morning breakfast with her special girlfriends at the Hen House in Shapleigh.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, husband Eddie Cox, son Mark Cox and brother, Louie Doucette. Surviving are her son Steve Cox, grandson Brian Cox, great grandchildren, Arden and Harper and sister, Jeanette Spang.
