Lloyd G. Suitter, 66, died peacefully Wednesday July 19, 2023 at Riverside Nursing Home.
Born in Lincoln, Maine January 20, 1957. He was the son of Leland N. and Evelyn (McLaughlin) Suitter Sr.
He formerly lived in Houlton, Westbrook, South Berwick, Berwick and Eliot Maine.
He was a ship builder, carpenter, artist and father. He was also a member of Eliot Baptist Church.
Family members include four sons; Jason Suitter of Westbrook, Shawn Chase and wife Elaina of South Berwick, Joshua Suitter of Wells, and Patrick Burns of Manchester, NH. Two brothers; Leland Suitter Jr. of Houlton Maine and Jason Suitter of Westbrook, Maine. Four sisters; Cindy Suitter of Lebanon, Maine, Anna Ahlstrand of Tacoma, Washington, Gina McDonald of Oakfield, Maine. Predeceased by his sister Tina Farewell.
He had 9 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial service will be held August 4, 2023 at 11am at Eliot Baptist Church, Eliot, Maine.
