Linda L. Luiggi, 63 of Wells Street, North Berwick passed away in the Gosnell House in Scarborough after a 4- year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
She was born May 15, 1958 in Dover, NH, the daughter of Raymond and Barbara (Leary) Brunell. Linda graduated Somersworth High school then had various occupations including bartending and cosmetology. She eventually found her niche as the Supervisor of Assembly at Thomas & Betts.
Linda married Fred Luiggi after 10 years together on September 1, 1996 and remained joined at the hip for the next 25 years. During their years at Bauneg Beg Pond, she loved swimming and boating, paddling in her canoe and flying across the water on her jet-ski. She loved the peacefulness of fishing and hiking or just reading a good book. She loved nature and the outdoors and her family. Linda was introverted but full of fun and nothing but an all- around sweet person. She was the best companion ever to Fred and an amazing step-mom to the 3 boys. Her presence will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her husband Fred P. Luiggi of North Berwick; 3 step-sons, J.P. Luiggi and companion Carriella of Orgegon, Shelby Luiggi and companion Laura Barnes of Richmond, VA, Courtney Luiggi of Arundel, ME; 7 grandchildren, Jack Thomas, Lilliane, Sierra, Brielle, Mia, Emma and Cole; and 2 great grandchildren, Lailee and Liam; and sister Debbie Melitus and husband David of Dover, NH.
At her request, there will be no services.
