Linda M. Grant passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, at 6:27 a.m., taking her place in Heaven surrounded by the love of her family. While our hearts are heavy, we know Heaven gained one incredible woman one, who filled every room with love, laughter, creativity, and the smell of something sweet baking in the kitchen.
She was born August 21, 1955, in Medford, MA, the daughter of Kenneth and Barbara (Fyler) Russell. Linda grew up in Lynn, MA before moving to Berwick, ME where she remained for the next 52 years.
Known lovingly as “GiGi” to her grandchildren, Linda’s greatest joy in life was her family. Whether she was spoiling the grandkids a little extra, knitting something special by hand, crafting gifts, or making one of her amazing custom cakes for birthdays and celebrations, she poured love into everything she did. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and full hearts.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Peter Grant, who stayed faithfully by her side until the very end. The two shared a special bond, and one of Linda’s favorite things was simply spending time with Peter while waiting for him to finish his shifts so they could be together again.
Linda leaves behind countless memories, laughs, traditions, handmade creations, birthday cakes, and moments that her family will hold onto forever. Though she will be deeply missed every single day, her love will continue living through all the people lucky enough to have known her.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.”
