Lenard "Lennie Tibbetts Obituary

Lennie Tibbetts 63 of Berwick Maine passed away Monday Jan 10,2022 of Kidney disease.

He was born June 7, 1958 in Rochester, NH, son of Byron and Reba (Chates) Tibbetts. A 1977 graduate of Noble High School, in Berwick, Maine.

Lennie married his high school sweetheart Donna in 1980. Whom he was married to for 41 years. Together, they had 2 daughters Lindsay and Brittany. Lennie was a loving devoted husband and father who cared deeply about his family.

Lennie was the proud owner of Lennie Tibbetts Excavating. He took great pride in his work, always working by himself, many would say he was the best bull dozer operator around. He always remained humble.

His other passion was tractor pulling. He so looked forward to that time of year! He collected many trophies over the years, but it wasn’t about that to him, it was about spending time with his brother, nephews and many friends he made along the way.

Lennie was such a likable person. He had nicknames for everyone, he made everyone laugh, always!! But his best attribute was being a wonderful husband and the best dad. He lived for his girls. Loved watching them play sports watching Lindsay coach.

Lennie’s light dimmed a bit with the loss of his daughter Brittany. His love for the lake seemed to bring him peace. It was a place he wanted to be whenever possible.

He was always willing to lend a helping hand. So strong!! His hugs made you feel so comforted and safe. He will be missed by many. He would want everyone to always laugh!!

Lennie was predeceased by his parents Byron and Reba Tibbetts, and his Daughter Brittany Tibbetts. He is survived by his wife Donna (Guptill)Tibbetts, daughter Lindsay Tibbetts and Love, Ryan Camire, Brothers, Leland Tibbetts wife Dottie Tibbetts, Larry Tibbetts, sisters, Linda Tiberio husband Joe Tiberio, Leah (Bonnie) Tibbetts. Sister in-law Brenda Souza, brother-in-law Robert Merrill, wife Mary. Many many nieces and nephews who loved Lennie with all their heart.
