Laura Mae Littlefield, 92, died peacefully at home in North Berwick on November 3, 2025.
She met the love of her life, Lyle L. Littlefield of Berwick, at a dance in the Quamphegan Grange in South Berwick in 1950. She dearly missed Lyle having preceded her in death in 2010.
Also preceding her: parents, Ralph and Reta Littlefield, siblings: Bruce, George, Lorraine Hall, and Tommy.
She will be sorely missed by her children: Karen (Rick) Cordier and Dana (Lori) Littlefield. Carrying on her legacy are her grandchildren: Beth (Fred) Strychnewicz, Kate Cordier, Trish Cordier, Delani (Zach), and Devin (Monica) Littlefield. She adored her 9 great-grandchildren: Alex, Sami, RJ, Faith, Amy, Grayson, Junie and Benjamin. Extended family include: her sister-in-law Pat Littlefield, many nieces and nephews and her Lifelong friend, Phila (Westman) Roberge.
She had many friends through out the country from The Order of Easten Star, her years working at GE, her church, the American Legion Auxiliary and many other volunteer activities. She delighted in playing Mrs. Santa Claus at various places.
Service will be later at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
Laura slowly disappeared in her 16-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. We are comforted that she and Lyle are now together dancing again.
