Larry Wick Obituary

Larry M. Wick, 58, of Randall Road passed away peacefully March 31, 2020 in Massachusetts General Hospital after complications from surgery.

Larry was born September 25, 1961 in Rochester, NH, son of Merritt and Sandra (Thompson) Wick.  Larry graduated from Noble High School in 1980.  Growing up in the family business, he spent his entire life as a motorhead; working on his buddy’s cars after school and on the weekends.   He worked for his folk’s business, Wick’s Automotive began his own shop, Larry’s Automotive.    Larry was a good and honest hard-working man who would’ve given the shirt off his back to help anyone.   He was available day or night to come give you a tow, an inspection sticker or whatever else you may need.   When he wasn’t working on cars, he could be found in the sawmill, cutting firewood, working the farm, tending to the cows or driving a tractor getting the hay cut and ready for the winter.  Most of the time, he could be found hanging out in his garage, with all of his amazing buddies around him.

In his younger years, he could do burnouts with the best of them, knew all the backroads to get away and where all the best pit parties were.    Larry had a passion for antique cars and had a nice collection of his own.  He also enjoyed  long rides along the back-country roads on his Harley.  Larry and his huge heart, smile and sea-blue eyes will be missed by so many in our community and far beyond.

Larry was pre-deceased by his parents, Merritt and Sandra Wick; brother, Michael Wick and nephew Dustin Wick.  He will be sorely missed by his partner of 13 years, Karen Menter; 2 daughters, Danielle (Wick) Goulet and Kirsten Donndelinger; brother Daniel Wick and his wife Darlene; sister-in-law Jodi Wick and her children Joshua and Jessica Wick; granddaughters, Alexis and Sarah Goulet; aunts, uncles, cousins and his pup companion, Chloe, all of North Berwick.  He will forever be missed numerous friends and the North Berwick community at a whole.

Due to current circumstances, at this time, Larry will be laid to rest with his family in the Hillside Cemetery, privately.  When possible, a grave side service will be held in the Hillside Cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.
