Kenneth L. Boston, Sr, of North Berwick, passed away at his home after a battle with cancer.
He was born August 3, 1940 in South Berwick, ME, the son of Elmer and Olive Boston and attended South Berwick Schools. Kenneth worked in manufacturing most of his life at Roberts Shoe, retiring as a supervisor at Prime Tanning. North Berwick became his home in 1988. After retirement, he worked several years at the North Berwick Transfer Station.
He enjoyed a simple life at home cooking up his famous “Kenny burgers” for family and friends. He enjoyed camping at Rocky Branch in the White Mountains. He also loved a good campfire in his own back yard, his quiet retreat where he loved feeding his birds. He had a wonderful sense of humor and picking blueberries and enjoying the simple things in life.
He was pre-deceased by his brother, Roger. Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Sheila; 3 sons, Kenneth, Jr., Martin and Timothy; 3 daughters, Corinne, Charlene and Kelly; 2 brothers, Elmer and Ron; 3 sisters, Shirley Dumont, Joni Small and Sandy Durand as well as many grandchildren.
