Joseph A. Thibeau (67) from Alfred, Maine passed away on September 2, 2024 after a brave battle with Cancer. Joseph (Joe) was the youngest son of Olive (Wedge) Thibeau and Neal Thibeau, long time residents of Scarborough, Maine. Joe grew up attending Scarborough High School Graduating in 1977. He was a proud Retired Volunteer Fireman for the Town, a member of Engine #4 in Pine Point.
He worked for Oliver Vending, moving on to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a machinist on Submarines. leading to a position at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida as a Tech on Harry Potter exhibits. He moved back to Maine to be home in December of 2023.
Joe had many friends and family in Maine as well as Florida. We will all miss his "Dad" jokes and his huge compassionate heart. He is survived by his brother William Thibeau from Florida, several Nephews + Nieces, along with grand Nephews and Nieces, His Sister-in-law Julie and many Thibeau Cousins.
Graveside Service held Saturday October 5, 2024 at Scarborough Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends plan to meet at the Clambake in Scarborough after.
