Jeanne Mann Obituary

Jeanne E. Mann, 59, of Kipling Rock Road, passed away unexpectedly February 13, 2021 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH.

She was born May 1, 1961 in Portsmouth, NH, the daughter of A. Terry and Helen (Stevens) Marinos.  Jeanne graduated from Winnacunnet High School, Hampton, NH in 1979 before marrying her love, David A. Mann, in 1980.

Jeanne and David raised their two girls in Rochester where she cared for many children in her home.  At one point in time, when her girls were young, all the kids in the neighborhood would be there before and after school.  She welcomed them all with her loving heart.  As a family, they loved their camping trips.  Jeanne especially loved cooking.  Not a family gathering passed by without her wonderful meals.  Jeanne was a very social woman who kept her family and friends and neighbors up to date on the goings-on in town and in her very large Greek family.

She was predeceased by her mother, Helen (Stevens) Marinos.  She will be sorely missed by her husband of 40 years, David Mann of Rochester; 2 daughters, Angela James and husband Mark of South Berwick, ME and Dorothy “Dot” Blake and husband Patrick of Saco, ME; brother John Marinos and wife Lisa of Auburn, NH; 3 grandchildren, Austin and Payton James, Morgan Blake; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends and neighbors.

At this time, there will be no public services.  Friends who wish may contribute in her name to the St. Charles School – Catholic Charities, 19 Grant Street, Rochester, NH 03867.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Johnson Funeral Home, North Berwick, ME. Condolences may be expressed at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com
