Gerard Edward Ouellette, 80, of Simpson Way, North Berwick passed away peacefully on July 29, 2020 at Gosnell Hospice in Scarborough, from a brief illness.
He was born May 5, 1940 to the late Rosario and Edna (Brunet) Ouellette in Salem, MA.
Gerard graduated from Salem Classical High School in Salem, MA and then enlisted in the Navy.
He grew up in Salem, MA and worked in the Shoe Factory in Shipping and Receiving. He later moved to North Waterboro, ME with his wife and worked as a machinist; eventually retiring in Maine. He loved living in Maine; enjoying golfing, walking and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful father and very proud grandfather who loved every one of his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Robert Ouellette and sister, Patricia Michaud. Surviving are his wife, Janice Ouellette of North Berwick, ME; sons Timothy Ouellette and wife Dianna of Parsonsfield, ME, Scott Ouellette and girlfriend Heather of Rowley, MA; daughter Lisa Ouellette Jackson and husband Scott of Oklahoma; sisters Gloria Denis of Seabrook, NH; Barbara Blanchette of North Hampton, NH; Joan Parker Davis of Danvers, MA; 8 grandchildren, Meagan, Brittany, Abigail, Elizabeth, Emily, Danielle, Garrison and Hannah.
A private graveside service for family will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Rollinsford, NH. Arrangements are entrusted to the Johnson Funeral Home, North Berwick, ME where condolences may be expressed at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com
