Gary E. Glidden

Gary E. Glidden. 53 of School Street, passed away at his home July 13, 2020 after a period of failing health.

He was born March 3, 1967 in Dover, NH, son of Raynard and Sandra Glidden and attended Somersworth Schools. Gary started roofing in his teenage years, eventually having his own company, CANG Contracting.

Gary was an avid outdoorsman who loved his lifted 87’ mud truck, fly fishing & muscle cars. Gary was a die-hard Patriots fan and enjoyed all his free time with his family and close friends. Gary was a member of Fraternal Order Of Eagles #1887 in Somersworth, NH. He loved all five of his Grandchildren equally but enjoyed his special relationship with his sidekick, Alex.

Gary was pre-deceased by his parents. He will be forever missed by his son Nicholas Glidden and wife Jamie of Berwick; sister Cindy Austin and husband Mike of Cornish; 5 Grandchildren, Logan, Alexander, Brooke, Eric, Avian & Blake; Lifelong friends Todd Henner, Diane Beaton, Stacy Royer, Sean Longley and numerous other close friends he would consider his family.

A celebration of life will be held at a time and place to be determined. Interment will be at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Somersworth, NH.
