Biddeford, ME, formerly of Framingham, MA - Frederick V. Wilson Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the age of 90.

He was born in Dorchester, MA, on June 17, 1931. He was the son of the late Frederick V. Sr. and Laura (Vannasse) Wilson. He was the devoted husband of Estelle M. (Deveau) Wilson, with whom he celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on January 20, 2021.

A graduate of Waltham High, class of 1949, he enlisted with the United States Air Force on July 12, 1949. He served as a teletype operator for three years during the Korean War. Never being one to retire, Ted worked many years for The Stage Neck Inn and Starkey Ford, both located in York. They eventually moved to Wells, ME, where he finally retired. In 2015, he and Estelle moved in with their oldest daughter. Ted was a passionate sports fan and loved all his Boston teams. He was an avid runner and participated in many races throughout New England, including seven Boston Marathons in the 1980s. His love of running and fitness continued through the years, and he was a fixture on Mile Road in Wells alongside his friend Joe Taranova.
