Francis (Frankie) Llewellyn Stuart, 90, of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2025 surrounded by family. Born in Quincy, MA on August 26th, 1934. Francis graduated from Quincy Vocational Technical Center as a small engine mechanic.
Francis spent 2.5 years in the National Guard and another 5.5 years in the USAF as a master mechanic serving in the Korean War. He spent over a decade as a commercial fisherman and another 50+ years as a master mechanic.
He enjoyed racing/building motorcycles, fishing, attending karate, going to movies, concerts, the casino, and enjoying the sun at the pool with his lovely wife Dawn. He enjoyed teaching his family about cars, fishing, and even building a log cabin to live in as well as a small farm outback. Francis prided himself in being a great father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Francis was predeceased by his parents Kenneth W Stuart and Lulu W (Stuart) Swanfeldt, his beloved wife Dawn E Stuart, his son-in-laws Wayne McQueen and Larry Prince, and his grandson Michael (Mikie) Everett Wile Jr.
He is survived by his children Kenneth R Stuart, Suzanne McQueen, Lulu Prince, Lori O’Connor and her husband Charles, James Stuart and his wife Donna. His grandchildren Wayne Jr, Ryan, and Kennith McQueen, Heidi Dawn Stuart, Crystal Blair-Prince, Eli, Travis, and Sarah Wile, Kyle and Tyler Stuart. His great grandchildren Kairlye, Devlyn, and Katelyn McQueen, Brayden Francis Enlow, Mercy-May Dawn, Freya, and Finigun Wile. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Francis will be remembered for his love for his family, his kindness, the wisdom he shared, and the impact he made on everyone’s lives that knew him. Services will be held on August 11th, 2025 at 11am at Woodlawn Cemetery in South Berwick, ME.
