Edward “John” Lynch, 63, of Pleasant Street passed away at his home January 3, 2021 after a period of failing health.
He was born June 9, 1957 in Middletown, CT, the son of Donald and Anne (McFarlane) Lynch. John graduated from Vinyl Tech High School in Middletown before proudly serving in the United States Air Force. After the service, John settled in North Berwick, beginning his 34- year career with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft; retiring as a Master Tool and Gauge maker.
John was a quiet man, living a simple life; enjoying the serene of hunting and fishing.
He was pre-deceased by his father, Donald and brother David Lynch. Surviving are his mother Anne Lynch of North Berwick and Bradenton, FL; wife of 33 years, Elizabeth (Lemay) Lynch; 2 sons, Nathan Lynch and his wife Rachel of North Berwick and Marc Lynch of Berwick; mother-in-law Rose Lemay of Berwick and two grandsons, Trent and Alexander.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, January 8th from 3pm to 6pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME.
