E. Lora (Barrett) Bernier

(Ethel) Lora Bernier, 75 of Paul John Ave, passed away peacefully at her home on July 22, 2021 with her family by her side after a long battle with dementia and multiple health issues.

She was born March 6, 1946 in Saco, ME, the daughter of Ralph and Gertrude (Tremblay) Barrett and graduated Kennebunk High School.

Lora had the greatest job of all, taking care of her family and home.  She and her husband raised their 4 children in Kennebunk, enjoying every minute of it.  She loved all types of crafts, dolphins and horses. 

Lora was pre-deceased by her husband James in 2019and her grandson, Brandon Dubois in November 2020.   She will be sorely missed by her 2 sons, Mark Bernier and Shane (Tracy) Bernier of West Kennebunk; 2 daughters, Lucinda (Mark) Williamson of West Kennebunk and Michelle (Jeff) Cooper of Kevil, KY; a sister, Frances Burr of Kennebunk as well as 5 grandchildren, coral, Nathon, Vanessa, Jason, Michael, and 10 great grandchildren. 

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 29th  from  6pm to 8pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME.  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 30 at 3pm at the graveside in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Kennebunk.
