Doris E. (Gagne) Morrill

Doris E. Morrill 65 of Ledgeview Drive, Rochester passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 24th, 2022, with her children, Jenifer and Jesse by her side, following a brief illness.

 Born February 4th, 1957, in Dover NH, daughter of Joseph & Theresa (Caron) Gagne.  Doris grew up in Somersworth, NH and graduated Class of 1976. She retired as a Defense Contractor for Pease Air Force Base in December 2019.   

Doris had a smile that would light up a room.  She was caring and giving, always putting others before herself.  She was known for her volunteer work with the Red Cross Disaster Relief assisting others in their time of need. 

Doris’ greatest love was her family and times spent with them.  She looked forward to their annual camping trips and the rotation of who spent the week in Florida with her. Doris would attend many events of her grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews including baseball games, proms, graduations, and weddings.   

 She enjoyed reading, floral gardening, DIY projects and weekly game night with her friends.  

Doris was predeceased by her parents and older sister Frances Deshanaris.  She will be sorely missed by her daughter Jenifer Morrill of Berwick, husband Jason; son Jesse Morrill and wife Rebekah of North Berwick; grandchildren Savanah, Cameron, and Sydney; siblings Paul Gagne and wife Kim of Ossipee, NH; sister Debra Lambert and husband David of Farmington, NH as well as many nieces and nephews.  

An hour of visitation will be held Wednesday, August 31, from 10am to 11am immediately followed by a memorial service at 11am at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Covenant Baptist Church, 285 Maple Street, North Berwick, ME 03906.
