Deborah J. DeWitt, 62 of Maple Street passed away September 21, 2020 in SMHC Biddeford.
She was born February 3, 1958 in South Portland, ME, daughter of Berland and Francis (Pettengil) Tracy. She was a 1976 graduate of South Portland High School.
She worked many different jobs over the years, her latest at Town Pizza in North Berwick where she was adored by her co-workers and customers.
In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating and singing in the choir at the Elm Street Methodist Church in South Portland. She also was in a dart league and enjoyed cribbage tournaments, crocheting, and spending time with her family. Deb had a joyful heart and was always singing. As a breast cancer survivor, she was a fighter and took care of everyone else, even when she was sick. Deb was a member of the Patriot Riders Maine Chapter One.
Deb is survived by her husband Daniel F. DeWitt III with whom she had just celebrated 30 years of marriage in July; their 6 children, Toni, Chrystal, Michael, Brandy, Kelly and Brianna; 2 brothers, Bruce and Steve; 2 sisters, Karen and Kathy; sister in law Joyce and her husband Wes; brother in law Doug and his wife Vicki, brother in law Royce and wife Joni; 19 grandchildren and 1great grandson.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, September 28 from 11am to 1pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME. In order to comply with COVD-19 mandates, masks are required. Interment will be at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale, ME.
