David R. Keene

David R. Keene, 39, of North Berwick, passed away August 5, 2022 at Gosnell Hopsice in Scarborough, surrounded by his family after a battle with metastatic  colon cancer.

He was born October 31, 1982 in Lawrence, MA and attended Attelboro High School.  David worked in the service department for Tri-City Dodge in Somersworth, NH and Key Auto in Portsmouth, NH.

David was a loveable guy who would do anything for those he cared about and his wit and humor will be missed. He is remembered for giving the best advice when asked. David enjoyed traveling, his motorcycle, all kinds of cars, the New England Patriots and of course, his sneaker collection.  He took great pride in his appearance. 

He was pre-deceased by his mother, Paula Cogen and nana, Geraldine Cogan.  Surviving are his wife, Leslie (Leung Ross) Keene;  father and step-mother, William  and Susan  Huebel of Strafford, NH; sons, David Keene, Jr. of Berwick, step-son Justin Ross of Kansas; 2 step-daughters, Shauna and Olivia Ross of North Berwick; brother, Anthony Huebel of Fitchburg, MA; sisters Leah (Andrew) Thomas and  Angela Keene, both of Fitchburg, MA and Emily Huebel of Strafford, NH as well as uncles, aunts and cousins.

An hour of visitation will be held Thursday, August 11 from 11am to 12pm immediately followed by a funeral at 12pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME.  Interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery, North Berwick.

In Lieu of Flowers:  A fund is set up to assist the family to defray the funeral expenses.
