Charles “Bud” Wayne Born passed away September 18th after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s.
Bud was born March 25, 1938, in PA to Karl and Lillian (Davis) Born. He grew up in Pittsburgh and served in the United States Air Force. Bud was stationed at Pease Air Force Base, where he met the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Ellen Dimon Born. Bud and Ellen married and lived all of their days in Tatnic.
Bud was a very talented fabricator; he was a pilot and loved old tractors. He made the best French toast and potato pancakes. He loved old movies, especially Westerns and WW II films. He loved to share his knowledge of all things interesting.
Bud was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Ellen Dimon Born; brother Karl Born; sister-in-law Deborah Dimon Littlefield; and nephew Stephen Poole. He is survived by nieces Christine Sayre (Richard), Roberta Solomon (Mark), Cindy Littlefield Poole, and Holly Maland; nephews Timothy Born (Monica), John Born (Vicki), and Michael Littlefield (Kathy); great-nieces Brenda Poole-Kessler (Alex) and Emilie Zalfine (Gabriel); great-nephews Devin Born and James Poole (Rachel); sister-in-law Carole Born; and brother-in-law James Littlefield.
