Caroline (Fish) Carette Gilpatric, age 77, of Pine Ledge Drive passed away July 18, 2021.

She was born in Manchester, NH on March 18, 1944 the daughter of George R. and Frances A. (Darling) Fish.  She lived in Manchester for most of her life, raising her two sons.  In 1981 she married Maurice Gilpatric, Jr. and moved to Wells, ME.  For 25 years she worked at Encore Shoe Zodiac in Rochester, NH.  Caroline took over as the head of housekeeping at the Colonial Village Resort in Ogunquit, Maine in 1994; retiring in 2010.

Caroline had a great love for singing and enjoyed karaoke.  She was also an avid doll collector and worshiped her cats.

Caroline was pre-deceased by her father George in 1970, mother Frances in 1997 and her husband of 25 years, Maurice M. Gilpatric, Jr. in 2005, and dear friend, Barbara Gamache.

  Surviving are her 2 sons, Edward Carette and his wife Debbie of Allenstown, NH; David Carette and his wife Jen of Somersworth, NH; 3 step-sons, Robert Gilpatric and his wife June of Wells, ME, Kelvin Gilpatric and Jessica Keyes of Wells, ME, Kevin Gilpatric and his wife Erica of Lyman, ME; a sister Jill Bautista Smith  of San Jose, CA; 11 grandchildren; Jeffrey Carette and wife Ashley, Cody, Taylor Bellio and husband Mike, Cole and Harper Carette, Heather, Ryan, Elizabeth, Dylan and Noah Gilpatric and Nicholas Keyes; three great-grandchildren, Iris Keyes and Avalonne Gilpatric and Natalie Bellio; a niece, Laura Bautista and nephew Evan Bautista; special people in her life, her Sister Jill (Bautista) Smith, who found her after many years apart, dear friends Edward Gamache and Don and Joyce Cansler; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

An hour of visitation will be held Saturday, July 31 from 11am to 12PM immediately followed by a memorial service at 12 pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME.  Arrangements are in the care of the Johnson Funeral Home, North Berwick.  Online condolences may be made at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com
