Carlton Vincent Clark, 62, passed away peacefully at his home in Berwick, Maine with family at his side on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024.
Carlton was born on May 5, 1962 in York, Maine to Phyllis Marshall and her former husband Colin Clark. He was a graduate of Marshwood High School and a volunteer firefighter with South Berwick Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed many aspects of living in Maine, such as hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, playing horseshoes and even cutting wood with his friend of 38 years, Ricky Douquette, and brother-in-law Dennis Fall. Carlton also loved to cook, especially when it was for friends and family.
In 2008 Carlton joined the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a shipfitter in the structural shop, before moving to the supply department in 2020 where he rose to the level of supervisor.
Carlton is survived by his sisters Paula (Dennis Fall) Clark, and Pamela (Justin Rogier) Clark; niece Ashley (Chris) Couch; nephews Cameron (Glenn) McNeil, and Zack Sayers, and stepmother Vicky Clark.
Carlton was predeceased by his parents Phyllis Marshall and Colin Clark; brother Chester Clark, and step-sister Tracy McKay.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 13, 2024 4:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson Funeral Home 26 Market St. North Berwick, Maine. Burial will be private.
