Anna E. (Homovich) Bean, 69, of Covington, Virginia formerly of North Berwick, Maine has ended her physical journey on this earth.
Anna was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario Canada, the daughter of Michael and Gretta (Moulton) Homovich and graduated Noble High School in 1972. She had wonderful memories of traveling to Germany as a young adult. In 1984, Anna married her first husband, Jack Lane, and raised their two daughters in North Berwick, Maine.
Anna has lived many places in her lifetime- from being born on a military base in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, to living in Spain until the age of six. North Berwick, Maine became the place where the family settled and called home
Anna remarried in 2015 on Valentine's Day to Robert Bean of Farmington, Maine. Together, they began their retirement journey in 2019 when they moved to Anna's dream home in Virginia. Anna enjoyed crafting, crochet, gardening, bird watching and spending time in the sun at any body of water, particularly Wells Beach, Maine. Anna was an adventurous traveler who never missed an opportunity to go to Bar Harbor, camping, or visit friends to go apple picking. As a devoted lover of all animals, Anna volunteered, fostered pets in need, and routinely donated supplies to her local animal shelters.
She was predeceased by her parents, baby sister, Jane Diane, brother Michael Homovich, and father of her children, Carroll “Jack” Lane. It is with sad hearts Anna leaves her husband of 9 years, Robert Bean, her daughters, Dianna and Carrolyn Lane, and her cherished dog, Candy. Anna will be missed by many.
Anna will be laid to rest with her family in Hillside Cemetery, North Berwick this spring. Arrangements are entrusted to the Johnson Funeral Home, North Berwick, ME. Condolences may be expressed at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com
