Sandra J Skinner

Sandra J. Skinner, 74, of Boyds Corner Road, passed away peacefully June 26, 2018 at SMHC in Biddeford.

She was born August 6, 1943 in Biddeford, ME, daughter of Hartley and Elsie (Hilton) Hutchins.  In her earlier years, she worked as a manager and meat cutter at Jerry’s Arundel Market.

 Sandra was a bargain hunter who loved searching for treasures at local thrift stores and yard sales, usually bringing the grandchildren along.  She used to also enjoy sitting at the counter at Clarks 5 & 10 in North Berwick just visiting with the townspeople. Sandra enjoyed being in her kitchen, cooking and baking up a storm for her family. Her greatest love and joy in life was spending time with her husband, daughters and grandchildren.

Sandra was pre-deceased by her daughter Bambi Benvie Gamache in 2010.  She is survived by her husband of 42 years, David W. Skinner of South Berwick; 3 daughters, Heidi L. Young and her husband Larry of Arundel, Rebecca A. Skinner of Tucson, AZ, Autum Whitehill and her husband Norman of Rochester, NH; brother Ronald Hutchins of Randolph, ME; 5 grandchildren, Jen Bowley, Thomas and Annakah Young, Collin and Shana Reilly; 5 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Declan, Liam, Rory and Oliver, as well as many nieces and nephews.
