Patience A. Dixon, 78, of North Berwick passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 22, 2019 after a period of declining health.
She was born February 12, 1941 in York, Maine, daughter of Goodale A. and Hazel R. (Pender) Dixon. Patience graduated from Wells High School in 1959 and went on to attend college in Florida. For many years, she was employed as an Inspector at Clarostat in Dover, NH.
Patience lovingly made award winning quilts which she shared with family and friends. She was an original member of the Cocheco Quilters Guild with over 35 years of service. She always looked forward to the annual October Cocheco Quilt Show.
Patience was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Doris Goerner, Arthur Dixon, Myrtle Legendre and Betty Naimey.
Patience is survived by her sister, Louise Ford and brother George Dixon, her two daughters, Marilyn (Dan) Kramer, Bolivar, Ohio, Laura Kohler, North Berwick, Maine, grandchildren Jessica (Chuck) Torno, Nicholas (Erica) Stark, Elizabeth Kramer, Megan (Clayton) Watson, Allison (Gabriel) Anderson, and great grandchildren Aiden, Alexis and AddisonTorno, Hazel Anderson and Noah Stark as well as many well loved nieces and nephews.
