Marjorie Elizabeth Shaw, 89, of Berwick passed away Thursday April 9, 2009, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, June 15, 1919 to Alma and Walter DePatie and graduated from Reading, Massachusetts, high school.

She was an avid quilter, reader and gardener.

She is survived by her three children: Susan Shaw of Berwick, David Shaw and his wife, Lorraine, of Fremont, New Hampshire, and Margie Cremer and her husband, Viv, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She is also survived by her grandaughters: Heather Shaw, Kimberley Anderson (Mike) and Kirsten Cremer as well as her two great-granddaughters, Emilia and Lillian. Her sister, Audrey Harrison, and her niece, Lori Georgy, also survive her.

Private graveside services for the will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833. Arrangements are in the care of the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market St. North Berwick,ME.
