Elsie Grace (Scales) Porter

Elsie Porter, age 95, died peacefully with her children by her side on January 2, 2020, at Evolve at Rye, a memory care center in Rye, New Hampshire.  She has joined her husband, the Rev. Wayne R. Porter, with the Lord in heaven.  She is survived by her 2 daughters, Deborah and her husband Dennis Wyman, and Rebecca Taylor; seven grandchildren: and seven great-grandchildren.

 Elsie served God with her husband for thirty-two years at the First Baptist Church of North Berwick, Maine, and she faithfully taught a Bible study for many years after.  She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

 A service will be held on Saturday, January 4, at 11:00 at the First Baptist Church in North Berwick, Maine.
