Deborah Littlefield Obituary

Deborah Dimon Littlefield passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, September 28th at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. She was born February 24th 1948 at Carney Hospital, Boston, MA to Otis & Bernice (Ryan) Dimon.

In 1953 she moved to Rockside Farm in Tatnic were she had a childhood that could only be described in stories, with parents who believed children came first and should be happy. She later returned to the farm, raising her own family in much the same way and then in later years had her grandchildren there as well, where she could be found making forts and playing ice hockey with them!

She attended South Berwick High School, graduated from Key West, FL High School and McIntosh College. She was a medical coder / biller for Dover Rochester Associates in Radiology. She was an avid reader and loved mysteries. She loved to garden, was a talented artist and loved animals, especially kitties!

Her family was her true love in life, putting them before all else. To have her children and grandchildren near her was the only thing she wanted in life.  She taught us to put others before ourselves, to accept all, to always face our problems and heartaches head on. Identify the problem, find the solution, move through it, and to be strong and to always tell the truth, even if it might hurt.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and her son in law, Stephen Poole. She is survived by her husband James Littlefield, daughter Cindy Littlefield Poole, son, Michael Littlefield and his wife Kathy, daughter Holly Littlefield Maland and her husband Chris, Grandchildren, Brenda Poole-Kessler, James Poole, Samantha McCrary, Sister Ellen Born and her husband Bud, and cousin Sheila Ryan.
