Davin Timothy Clark

Davin Timothy Clark, age 7,  passed away June 9, 2018 alongside his father Kevin Clark in a tragic motor vehicle accident.

Davin was born January 23, 2011 in Newburyport, MA, son of Kevin C. Clark and Jessica Prest Clark and everyone immediately fell in love. 

Davin was a sponge for learning, always asking how things worked and why.  He was wise beyond his 7 years and his thoughtfulness and politeness will never be forgotten; with a smile that lit up the room. Davin picked flowers for his school bus driver often.  He loved nature and all of the animals, especially his chicken “Blackie”, his birthday cat “Crackers”  and his goat “Paxton” which he nursed each day from a bottle to save his life.  He just loved little babies and went out of his way to meet them wherever he was. Davin had plans to buy himself a Red  Corvette, which started his strong work ethic as  he began working with his Nanna at the goat farm cleaning stalls and tending to animals.  Recently, his Grampa and  Davin, or “Vinnie bag of donuts” as he was lovingly called, built an automatic goat feeder together.    He loved seeing how things were all put together.  Davin also liked to garden, more importantly to harvest the garden, but somehow managed to eat most of the vegetables before they made it into the house.  Another of his loves was being a little geologist; collecting and learning all about stones, rocks and gems he’d found.  Mostly, Davin loved every minute he spent with his dad, Kevin.  Davin loved to play X-box with his dad and had perfected speed reading and multi-tasking homework just so he could have more time at it!  Davin was a ray of sunshine and will always be a shining star in Heaven.

Davin leaves behind his mother, Jessica Prest Clark of Florida, his little brother, Chason of Florida, his older brother, Nathan of Maine,  his nanna, Melissa Clark and grampy, Jeremy Getcomb of North Berwick, grandparents Joanne Petrizzo of Biddeford and Timothy Prest, great grandmother, Carol Ward Clark of Florida; aunt Jennifer Grey of Maine and all of those whose lives have been touched by his presence.

Calling hours for Kevin and Davin will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 2pm to 4:30pm immediately followed by a brief service at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market Street, North Berwick, ME  Memorial donations in memory of Kevin and Davin may be made to Farm Animal Rescue of Maine, 26 Hooper Sands Road, South Berwick, ME 03908.  Johnson Funeral Home is caring for the family.  Condolences may be expressed at www.JohnsonFuneralHomeME.com
